Step 1: Eye Primer

I start by applying Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion evenly across my entire upper lid, gently pressing it in until it sets. This step is essential because it helps the eyeshadow appear more vibrant while preventing creasing and fading throughout the day.

Step 2: Base Shade Application

Using a large fluffy eyeshadow brush, I take the shade “Frosted” from the Blue Moon Mist Eye Makeup palette and sweep it across the entire upper lid, from the lash line up to just below the brow bone. This soft icy blue matte shade evens out the lid tone and creates a smooth base. I gently blend the edges upward to avoid any harsh lines.

Step 3: Main Color Placement

Next, with a medium rounded eyeshadow brush, I apply the shade “Celeste” from the Blue Moon Mist Eye Makeup palette onto the front two-thirds of the eyelid. I blend from the lash line upward, keeping the color below the crease and softly diffusing it into the base shade. This step creates that clean, translucent blue tone that defines the look.

Step 4: Outer Corner Definition

To add depth, I switch to a small tapered blending brush and pick up “Midnight” from the Blue Moon Mist Eye Makeup palette. I softly blend it into the outer third of the upper lid, focusing on the outer corner triangle. I also lightly sweep the same shade along the outer half of the lower lash line. I blend using small circular motions to keep the edges soft and avoid any muddiness.

Step 5: Center Lid Highlight

For the luminous effect, I use my fingertip or a small detail brush to gently press “Stardust” from the Blue Moon Mist Eye Makeup palette onto the center of the lid. I avoid sweeping and instead tap the product on, which helps maximize shine and creates that misty, light-catching glow.

Step 6: Lower Eye & Aegyo-Sal Details

Using a very fine detail brush, I apply “Frosted” from the Blue Moon Mist Eye Makeup palette along the lower eye contour to softly define the aegyo-sal area. Then, I tap “Stardust” onto the highest point to bring forward a subtle shimmer.

To echo the purple accents in the look, I take a light purple shimmer shade from Urban Decay 24/7 Longwear Eyeshadow and lightly sweep it across the front half of the lower lash line using a small brush.

Step 7: Lashes & Final Touches

I finish the eyes by applying a black lengthening mascara to both the upper and lower lashes, then add natural-style black false lashes close to the lash line for extra fullness. To enhance the purple detail, I coat the lower lashes with a purple mascara, which subtly ties the entire look together and adds a unique finishing touch.
